On July 20th, 2016 the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UNSDSN), the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Project Everyone and the UN Academic Impact co-hosted the launch of the SDG Index and Dashboards at the Westin Hotel in New York. Below is a short social media recap of the night. The #SDGIndex launch brought together 150 UN diplomats, academics, private sector professionals, non-profit representatives and sustainability conscious citizens who were eager to see the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) become a reality. The event was broadcasted live and enjoyed by a global audience on UNSDSN and SDSN Youth’s Facebook pages and on Professor Jeffrey Sachs’ Twitter account.
